Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books we are adding to our shelves, whether they be physical or digital. This includes books bought (my wife would say I buy too many), borrowed (a rare occurrence), and received for review (which I’m trying to reign in).
New Acquisitions: Paperback Treasures
Could it really be? Two weeks in a row without the purchase of a single book? Yes, the heavily strained shelves thank me for the reprieve, and my long-suffering wife are appreciative of the restraint.
After last week’s overindulgence with ten new review titles, I have just two new additions to the review shelves this week.
First up an advance copy of Best Bondage Erotica of the Year (March 10th), courtesy of Rachel Kramer Bussel, who accepted my application to become part of her Street Team. There is a wide range of stories in this year’s edition, but the ones that caught my eye involve two NASA officials, a gender-bending bounty hunter, and the Lady of the Lake herself.
Dominant Business (April 30th) by J.Scott is a title from a new publishing house that was pitched to me as “An LGBT Submissive Romance focused on two very strong willed women characters.” I liked what I read of the sample, and was impressed by the publisher’s approach, so I agreed to help launch it in style.
New Acquisitions: Digital Titles
A nice little handful of the erotic and exotic this week…
Undiscovered & Uncharted by Anna Hackett, the first of 8 books in her Treasure Hunter Security series, and The Cursed Key by Miranda Brock & Rebecca Hamilton, the first in their trilogy, are something I dug up (yes, pun intended) while researching an archaeology feature for next month.
