- Books downloaded – 16
- ARCs received for review (physical) – 2
- ARCs received for review (digital) – 6
- Books read – 9
- Average rating: 4
Last month’s reviews included:
- Alchemy’s Air by Stacey Tucker

- The Ranger of Marzanna by Jon Skovron
- Eden by Tim Lebbon
- Of Honey and Wildfires by Sarah Chorn
- Silk and Leather edited by Victoria Villasenor
- Dirges in the Dark by Antoinette Corvo
I always find what reviews are best received across different mediums to be fascinating, as it points to different audience segments being engaged . . . and this month it was Sarah Chorn who dominated:
- Most viewed on the blog – Silk and Leather edited by Victoria Villasenor
- Most liked on Goodreads – Of Honey and Wildfires by Sarah Chorn
- Most reach on Facebook – Of Honey and Wildfires by Sarah Chorn
- Most liked on Twitter – The Ranger of Marzanna by Jon Skovron

Features and guests this month included a guest post from Sarah Chorn to celebrate Of Honey and Wildfires and an Eden guest post from Tim Lebbon.
Look Ahead: May
While I hesitate to look too far ahead, as my reading is dictated as much by my whims and desires of the moment as by release dates, reviews I’m (reasonably) confident you can expect to see this month include:
- If It Bleeds by Stephen King (I’ll likely finish the last story this weekend)
- Stealing Thunder by Alina Boyden (I have been hugely excited for this)
- Wrath of Poseidon by Clive Cussler (not just a timely tribute to his passing, but my first Cussler ARC)
- Unconquered Warrior by J.L. Nicely (this was supposed to be a vacation read so I need to catch up)
- Love in an Undead Age by A.M. Geever (I have an ARC coming of book 2 for next month)
- Forward by Elizabeth Fyre (a new release)
- Sky of Water by Stacey L. Tucker (the trilogy concludes this month)
- The Slave His Mistress and Her Mother by Sophia James (I’m 2 books into this erotic series)
- Mistress Managed – Book One by B.J. Frazier (next on the erotica shelf)

I’m looking forward to your review of Stealing Thunder, I was so tempted to request it but, you know, too many books!

I’m looking forward to your review of If It Bleeds. The cover is beautiful to make me want to read it but I’ve learnt to never judge a book by its cover
