Don’t pee your panties once you put them on! With what has to be one of the best taglines ever, Courtney Captisa introduces a collection of 8 transgender-themed erotic horror stories in Frightening Feminization that offer a fantastic mix of slasher horror and Twilight Zone surrealism.
The collection opens with Hit & Run & Feminize, a story that combines the psychological weight of guilt with the supernatural power of revenge from beyond the grave, ending with a fantastic twist. Crossdressing Cabin switches gears to slasher horror, with a group of girls (and one feminized boyfriend) being stalked by an urban legend, with the overall dynamic of the friends adding significance to the story.
Blizzard of Holly has something of a Stephen King type feel to it with a young man being rescued from an accident by a strange woman who is dangerously obsessed with replacing her dead daughter – even if it kills him. Old Towne Road is a dark little tale of a town that time seemed to forget, a place where the men are rough and coarse and rude, and where the perfect Stepford housewives . . . well, weren’t always women.
This House is Roomy was one of my favorites in the collection, a haunted house mystery where the only furnished rooms are feminine bedrooms, with each having a different effect on the young man compelled to search them all. Hairspray of Horror and Have a Good Nightmare were both short pieces of fun, while Found Footage wraps things up on a disturbing note, with one young woman’s trip down memory lane turning into an increasingly more traumatic nightmare.
The Frightening here is equal parts psychological and supernatural while the Feminization is alternately willing and reluctant, sometimes for punishment and other times for tortured love and nostalgia, but the twists are what makes these stories so much fun.
