Although my reading focus is on fiction (primarily fantasy) that is female-led, fronted, dominant, or authored, there is a great depth of imagination, diversity, and creativity to be found upon my shelves.
Please note, that while I may dabble in Young/New Adult fiction from time to time, I primarily focus on Adult fiction and do not read Middle Grade fiction. In addition, I am not interested in Faith-Based, Self-Help, Motivational, or Inspirational books.
FORMAT
I’ve always been old school in that I prefer to hold a physical novel in my hand, especially if it’s a big book where I want to flip between chapters, glossaries, and maps. I do appreciate the convenience of ebooks, however, especially the ability to read in bed without disturbing my wife. That’s important. 🙂
I prefer the ePub format, but I can work with just about anything except pre-press, print-formatted PDFs, just don’t convert cleanly enough to read easily.
TIMELINES
Unless I have committed to a tour or a pre-release review, I can’t make any promises as to how long it will take me to get a review posted. I try to juggle my review pile no more than a few months out, but life often intervenes to make a mockery of even my best intentions.
